Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. We were immediately greeted by one of the owners. She was seriously the friendliest staff member I've ever encountered at an Asian restaurant. This restaurant is extremely clean, and decorated simply and beautifully. Not a grungy or questionable place at all! I almost felt like I could eat off of the floor (not really, but seriously it is so clean!). Our 2 year old son was sick, so she recommended one of their teas meant for sore throats and fevers, perfect! It was super simple and yummy! She suggested we try their combination plates since it was our first time. For about $9-$10 this included an entree, rice, soup, cheese won ton and a spring roll. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and wonton soup. My husband ordered the kung pao chicken with the same sides. The soup came first, and it was simple and delicious. (We ordered more to go). Food took the perfect time to cook (fast enough where we weren't waiting forever, but not too fast where you need to question how they prepare the food so quickly)! The food arrived, and it looked absolutely beautiful. It looked fresh and you can definitely care that they take pride in their food and care about the quality. The flavors were outstanding. So much flavor, but not yucky fake MSG flavor. They use fresh ingredients and cook like they would in China, not Americanized Chinese food. The portions were so huge we easily have two entire meals left for later. For the quality and quantity, you can't beat the price. I have a feeling we will be frequenting this place often, they have so many dishes I can't wait to try! The only disappointment I had was that they don't have any salads. I was really craving a good Chinese chicken salad, but maybe that's too much of an Americanized dish? ;) The owner who was our waitress, was the friendliest person, and tried her best to make my son feel comfortable. I've never experienced such great service :)

I just left this restaurant and I am still talking about their food with my wife! We had ordered the wonton soup, sweet and sour chicken and kung pao chicken. It was amazing!! I grew up in a predominantly populated asian community, so I like to think I have had quite a variety of Chinese food, but this was simply amazing! What made us want to return the most was the friendly service! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who enjoys Chinese food (:

We showed up just before close Friday night. The table was set for the family for a late supper, but they welcomed us in and we ordered takeout - hot and sour soup and pork fried rice. While we were waiting another family came in and ordered too; it was two minutes before closing time. Despite the fact they would have by then been starting their own dinner they served both of us with a cheerful attitude - and they were quick! My wife used to work at a Chinese takeout so she is an expert. The fried rice was full of veggies and lots of pork. We haven't had fried rice that good in a long time. The soup was also excellent. And the portions were LARGE. We're looking forward to going back to try some of the other dishes!

I took my son here for dinner on a Friday night. We had fantastic service and the food was also very good. My hot and sour soup was probably the best I've had in the Springs and they have huge portions with very reasonable prices. My almond chicken was great and I appreciated the big chunks of fresh zucchini and other veggies. My son had sweet and sour pork which was large chunks of well-cooked lean pork. Their egg rolls were nice and peppery and the fried rice and crab and cream cheese wonton were also very good. We had enough food to feed two adults and my son twice from just two meals. My son loves jasmine tea and a pot for both of us was less than two dollars. Very good tea and it serves 4 large cups with some left in the teapot. I highly recommend this restaurant and it will be my go-to Chinese place. Thanks to all the other yelp reviewers for helping us find this one.

It's okay. Service varies from okay to really poor. It depends on their mood.

Good food, portion sizes, service and prices. I recommend the sweet & sour chicken. They use white meat in their dishes. Also, the lo-mein is the spaghetti like noodles.

Another mom and pop strip mall hole in the wall joint. Most of the menu is Chinese, with a few Thai dishes, like curry thrown into the mix. The prices are very reasonable and the amount of food you get is plentiful. With every entree order, you get a carton of steamed or fried rice, which is a nice touch. I've had several of their dishes and they were all average. Nothing on the menu jumped out at me. I had their szechwan chicken and beef with broccoli and they've all tasted fine. This restaurant is quite small, with only a couple of booths, so it's probably better to get it carry-out. A good alternative to your run of the mill franchised Panda Express.

We just grabbed take-out from there and the food wasn't bad, especially for the Springs... For lunch specials, you get the entree (decent sized portion), fried or steamed rice, egg roll, and cheese wonton, all for about $5.95 for Chicken, slightly more for beef... We got the cashew chicken lunch special with hot and sour soup and steamed rice. Egg roll was how it should be, hot and sour soup was good, entree was good (I ordered medium spicy and that's what I got). I'll order again sometime.

The food is great and the service is exceptional! Feel free to dine-in as it's no longer as the name suggests "wok in wok out". :) They have expanded and built a really nice seating area with plenty of room! Definitely my "go to" in the Springs for Chinese.

This is a must try in the world of Chinese cuisine. Great prices and fast delivery! They have the best sesame chicken and home made hot mustard on the planet! If you really want to be treated like family then try coming and enjoying their lovely dining room. It feels like your in a small contemporary art gallery when you're here. They live and breathe customer service. I've been in Colorado Springs for 45 years and this is a dining treasure!

I found this place through yelp. Couldn't find a nice takeout/takeaway Chinese place and then the clouds parted and we found this one. There staff is very nice, but the food is outstanding!! Their combination rice is very good, not too greasy or salty. Beef and broccoli, sesame chicken (you can ask to hold the spice if that's not your thing), husband loves the sweet and sour pork, the noodles in Lo Mein are a little too done, but over all taste great. Shrimps in rice were a little smelly (I have a hound nose), but they were not bad. I've also had the wonton soup and chicken Thai soup... Yummy! One of my favorite things they do are the cheese wontons (I have to force myself to stop eating them) they have a special if u order more than $45, u get a free order. So why did I not give them 5 stars? On my 2nd trip, my phone order was lost. They looked around and found that it was already picked by someone else. My number and order was on the ticket, yet someone else had signed and taken my order. It was so frustrating, and the staff apologized several times and tried to rush my order (called to order @620, didn't leave with my food till 740pm) but they didn't offer a discount or compensation for the mix up that was not my fault. The ONLY REASON I didn't get mad, was because their food is that good... To their defense, it was a busy night.

We ordered pick-up and the food was hot and ready when we got there. The owners were very friendly and appreciative of our business. The food was all very fresh and used quality ingredients. We will definitely be back!!

Best place I've been to in the Springs! Wonderful food great atmosphere and the best customer service! My husband and I are regulars, anytime we can be there to eat we will be :) We highly recommend this place! Definitely a great hole in the wall that gets overlooked.. So find it and enjoy!

Food was great! Ordered delivery, it was quick and fresh. Portions were very large and received free cheese wontons with order. Will definitely be our new spot with it only being down the street

So yummy! Finally found a go to Thai/Chinese restaurant. Everything was amazing! The service was fantastic as well. We will be back soon.

The Chinese place we've been searching for! This place has great tasting food, good portions, well priced, and great service if you dine in and that's a hard combo to come by in these here parts.

Pad Thai came in a generous portion. I'm in the process of reviewing all the pad Thai in the Springs. This is still a viable contender!

Excellent food! Wonderful service and love the fact you can dine in. The owners are great people and care so much about their customers, the restaurant, and the quality. Totally recommend it!

My favorite take out in Colorado springs. The picture of the fish puzzle always cracks me up when I walk in. Anyways, Huge portions, absolutely huge! Always tastes great and is fairly cheap.

I am a challenge to impress when it comes to Asian food. I enjoy food prepared in the way it would be in the country of origin. I have had many a Chinese dinner from New York to Anchorage -Orlando to Grand Rapids. THIS IS THE BEST GENERAL TSO CHICKEN I HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE PERIOD The family owned restaurant has a husband that knows how to cook perfectly. A wife that is undeniably the best server I have had in an Asian restaurant and the best decor including music (instrumental pop hits that added a quiz nature to waiting for dinner). The food is not overly sugared. Typically, this was added to Chinese food to cater to the perceived American palette in the 1950's and carried on beyond. The flavors very well executed and plated. We had the appetizer for two (by heavens I am ordering this alone as a meal sometimes), Happy Family and General Tso Chicken. I am going to refer to this as the Trinity for now on. I cannot endorse this Chinese/Thai restaurant in enough words. I recommend the Trinity to give everything a try from the Savory to Sweet and Sour. If you, as as I, cannot stand most Sweet and Sour, you will come to understand Wok In Wok Out is the way it was supposed to be and actually enjoy it. Check out "Searching for General Tso" for more information on that stance. Limited delivery area but get some air at get take out!

We dined in and had the food hot and fresh. Seemed like typical good Chinese. There are several Chinese restaurants in the area, which I would not call good. While this may not be the best, it seemed like it earned high rank.

Excellent Chinese and Thai food. It's our go-to place for delivery. The staff is very friendly as well. Highly recommended!

The staff is the BEST. Our waitress provided my family with the best dining experience I have had in a LONG time. The food was great, and brought out quickly. The portion sizes are really big; however, I don't think that is a bad thing. Oh and the prices are GREAT. If you want some delicious Chinese food stop here, it is NOT just carry out or delivery. The dining area and bathrooms are incredibly clean. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the Denver area.

We did dine-in here for the first time last night and had a great experience. The food was delicious, portions were very generous, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We were shocked by how cheap it was. We will definitely be back!
(5)Neil E.
Small location, friendly atmosphere. The food is fresh, great ingredients and there is pride in how the food is made. Portions will allow you to eat well, then 20 minutes later eat again! Worth the trip!

My whole family loves the curry dishes. Wonderful! They have expanded and can seat many more people now. The atmosphere is very relaxing and nice. Portions are huge! One of our favorites in town.
